Pre-season Testing​ Travel Packages

Pre-season testing in Barcelona is a fantastic opportunity to see the new seasons F1 cars on track for the first time.

The atmosphere at pre-season testing is more relaxed than at a Grand Prix weekend, so much so that Ferrari team principal Maurizio Arrivabene even took to the grandstands a few years ago.

It's also a great opportunity to get closer to the action and closer to the stars of Formula One. During the 2019 pre-season testing, Altitude Luxury Travel will be based in the Circuit de Barcelona-Catalunya Piso Box suites located in the pit building and directly over the F1 garages.​

First test 18th / 19th / 20th / 21st February
Second test 26th / 27th / 28th February / 1st March

Our trips are completely flexible and tailor-made, so it doesn't matter if you want to spend just one day at the circuit or the full week but we would strongly suggest you attend the first test as there is a mobile phone conference in Barcelona which clashes with the second test.

Circuit de Barcelona-Catalunya Piso Box Suite hospitality

What makes it so special?

To begin with, it’s the location. The Piso Box comprises a number of corporate-box-style suites, which run the whole length of the pit lane. This means your Piso Box suite is directly above the F1™ teams’ garages. 

Step out onto the balcony, and you can almost reach out and touch the drivers – but please don’t try that!

You can look straight out of your window onto the pit lane, and out towards the starting grid. It’s just like this:​
Take a stroll along the walkway at the rear of the Piso Box suites and you are greeted with views into the F1 Paddock. You'll be eye-level with the upper decks of the teams' motorhomes.

​As if all this wasn't enough, Piso Box guests also enjoy access to a VIP grandstand at the north of the circuit, located right in the braking zone of Turn 10. While watching free practice and winter testing, we've seen many a driver overshoot this corner as they test just how late they can brake.
