With Altitude Luxury Travel, there isn’t the stress of arranging everything yourself. Your travel manager arranges everything. You can simply enjoy the thrill and atmosphere of Formula One™.
Everything you want from an incredible race weekend is included in our ATOL-protected packages. And if you want to add extra nights or additional activities, we’ll tailor a package just for you.

Here's what we include as standard
Travel from the UK to Milan by air. You may think this would be an essential inclusion but we have seen trips that don’t include this key element. If you'd prefer to travel by rail please ask for a tailor-made quotation.
Airport transfers abroad are always included and you will never be expected to make your own way from the airport to hotel (or vice versa). This means you won’t be left queuing for a taxi at the airport or put at risk of paying over the odds with an unknown local operator.
Accommodation. We offer a choice of standard (four-star) and premium (five-star) hotels in Milan. We use the same hotels year on year based on guest feedback, hotel location, price and our own personal experiences. If we wouldn’t stay in a hotel ourselves we certainly won’t offer it to our guests. If you would prefer to stay in Bergamo or Como please ask us for a tailor-made quotation.
Tickets. We'll always give you a price including grandstand tickets or hospitality for both Saturday and Sunday. As you're going to Monza on Grand Prix weekend you'll probably want race tickets to be included. We feel it can be confusing and unhelpful if tickets aren’t included as standard. If you'd like to go to the circuit on Friday as well we can tailor the trip to include an extra nights accommodation.
Circuit Transfers. We include flexible chauffeur driven transfers from your hotel to and from the circuit using Mercedes Benz people carriers. We operate a choice of transfer times on Saturday and Sunday morning to take you to the circuit, and return transfers from mid afternoon until the final on track action has finished.

For Formula One™ fans, it’s also really convenient for visiting the Italian Grand Prix™, since it’s the closest city to the Monza circuit. The Monza circuit is only a 30-40 minute drive from the centre of Milan.
That means the best of both worlds – a perfect race location for you, and great attractions to help convince non-F1™-devotees to come along for the ride.
The city is also well connected to most UK airports.
You’ll love Milan. It’s home to the world’s oldest shopping arcade, the beautiful Galleria Vittorio Emanuele, where you’ll find the best designer stores within stunning architecture. You can enjoy ballet or opera at La Scala, Italy’s finest opera house. The atmosphere alone is worth the visit.
And if you feel like extending your Italian Grand Prix™ trip? Then Milan is also a great base for day trips to the Italian Lakes, which you can take by organised tour or by direct train from Milan Central Station.

We’ve used the Hilton for several years, because it punches above its weight compared to other four-stars in Milan. It’s fresh, modern and has great service. There’s also a subway station close by, so you can be outside the Duomo (cathedral) in 10 minutes. Other four-star hotels that we use are the Starhotels E.c.ho, Hilton and Starhotels Anderson which have a similar location to the Hilton.

Having to rely on local trains and taxis can be one of the biggest causes of stress during an F1™ trip. How do I get my tickets?
Your tickets will be sent by Royal Mail Special Delivery at a time convenient to you. Tickets are usually dispatched four weeks before the Grand Prix. Is my money safe when I book with you? Every part of your package is ATOL-protected and insured by the Travel Trust Association. Thanks to our long-standing supplier relationships, any hiccups during your trip can be quickly resolved at management level. Do I have a point of contact during the race weekend? It’s the little extras that make Altitude Luxury Travel F1 breaks special. Your travel manager arranges everything, from cocktails in Monaco to a desert safari in Abu Dhabi. And should you need assistance during your trip, help is just a call away. How do I get from the hotel to the circuit? If you book a Classic or Ultra Grand Prix™ package circuit transfers are included as standard. Transfers are arranged to your schedule, so you decide how relaxed your weekend should be. Your English-speaking chauffeur will have local knowledge of the quickest routes through busy Grand Prix traffic. |
