Here's what we include as standard
Flights from the UK to the United Arab Emirates. You may think this would be an essential inclusion but we have seen trips that don’t include this key element.
Accommodation. We offer a choice of standard (four-star) and premium (five-star) hotels in Abu Dhabi and on Yas Island. We use the same hotels year on year based on guest feedback, hotel location, price and our own personal experiences. If we wouldn’t stay in a hotel ourselves we certainly won’t offer it to our guests.
Tickets. We'll always give you a price including grandstand tickets or hospitality for Saturday and Sunday and usually Friday too. As you're going to Abu Dhabi on Grand Prix™ weekend you'll probably want race tickets to be included. We feel it can be confusing and unhelpful if tickets aren’t included as standard.
We only recommend three hospitality venues (Formula One Paddock Club™, the Yas Viceroy Hotel Terrace Hospitality and Al Dhiyafa). We have tried and tested these venues and wouldn’t hesitate to recommend them to our own family and friends.

Main Grandstand
The Main Grandstand in Abu Dhabi (just like main grandstands at other circuits) is positioned along the start / finish straight looking towards the pit lane and pit building. If you want a vantage point that allows you to see into the team garages and into the pit lane then the Main Grandstand is for you. Seating to the right-hand side of the grandstand is positioned opposite the podium and the grid so you’ll have views of the pre race build-up as the cars and drivers wait for lights out and the podium celebrations after the race.
From the Main Grandstand you may see some some overtaking as the cars take advantage of any slip streams along the main straight as they pass by at over 200 miles per hour. Don’t expect to see any wheel to wheel action apart from the race down to the first corner, for that you’ll need to be positioned on one of the braking zones.
North Grandstand
Yas Marina Circuit’s North Grandstand hugs the hairpin section of circuit at turn 7. The horseshoe shaped covered grandstand creates an amphitheater like atmosphere which is quite spectacular under the Yas Marina lights.
This is a slow part of the circuit so don’t expect any high speed over taking but don’t be surprised if you see cars jostling for position or evening losing some body work as they break and concertina up at the hairpin before accelerating away down the back straight towards the West Grandstand.
West Grandstand
Located at turns 8 & 9, the West Grandstand at Yas Marina Circuit is perfectly positioned for some outbreaking moves at the end of the straight between turns 7 & 8. The views from the West Grandstand are plenty full and depending on your seat position you may have views of the cars as they hurtle down the back straight before arriving at the breaking zone at turn 8 and then as they negotiate the S section of circuit between turns 9 & 10.
You’ll also get twice the view from here as the cars reappear into sight at turns 20 & 21 before completing the lap. Seating to the left hand side of the West Grandstand also has views down the start / finish straight making this one of the most popular grandstands.
South Grandstand
Positioned in the breaking zone of turn 11 the South Grandstand is a popular choice and deservedly so. Cars come into sight after turn 10 as they pass the Marina Grandstand for a high speed approach into turn 11 before accelerating away through the S section of circuit at turns 12 & 13.
It is possible to see the cars in the distance as they pass by the yachts in the marina between turns 14 & 15 but these views are limited, especially from the lower rows of seating.
Marina Grandstand
The Marina Grandstand is positioned between turns 10 & 11 on the straight midway between the West and South grandstands. The views from the Marina Grandstand extend down towards turn 11 and also over to the high-speed turns 15 and 16 by the Marina before the cars pass in front of the Yas Viceroy Hotel.
You’re unlikely to see much wheel to wheel action but this is a good grandstand for seeing the cars at high speed.
The Marina grandstand has arguably the best backdrop of any grandstand with the illuminated Yas Viceroy Hotel and the luxury super yachts in full view.

There are few better ways to experience a Grand Prix™ than from the opulent surroundings of the iconic Yas Viceroy Hotel terrace. Only Monaco can provide an occasion on parr to this.
Overlooking the glittering Marina between turns 17 & 18 the Yas Viceroy terrace couldn't put you any closer to the action. Just ask Max Verstappen who commented "You could wave to the people while they're having their dinner"! Seriously though, this place is special, watching the cars as they glimmer under the circuits lights with super yachts moored in the background is an assault on the senses.
Parasols to protect against the afternoon sun and comfy sofas help create a relaxed environment to sip your Champagne and catch up on the latest Formula One™ talking points. Further seating, an open bar and hot buffet are also on hand in the adjoining lounge of the Viceroy hotel.
Additional touches to make your Grand Prix™ weekend extra special include appearances by F1™ personalities. Past appearances have included Eddie Jordan and David Coulthard who share their thoughts and opinions on the latest Formula One™ headlines and the upcoming on track action.

If the Formula One Paddock Club™ is First Class and the Yas Viceroy Hotel terrace Business Class then Al Dhiyafa would be the Premium Economy of Hospitality at the Yas Marina Circuit. It's a great way to combine the atmosphere of the grandstands with a little extra comfort and convenience.
Full days watching your favourite team or driver can take their toll, so the cool air conditioned surroundings of the Al Dhiyafa lounges provide some welcome respite from the desert heat. The hot buffet, comfortable seating and inclusive hot and cold drinks will refuel your depleted tanks ready for the next on track action. A cash bar is also available for alcoholic drinks.
Al Dhiyafa lounges are located in the upper levels of the Main, West and North Grandstands, simply step out of the lounge and into your reserved seat in the grandstand. It really couldn't be easier to move between your seat and the comfort of the lounge. An additional advantage of the Al Dhiyafa's position at the rear of the grandstand are the elevated views providing a superior vantage point over the circuit.
For more information about the views from the Main, West and North Grandstands watch our grandstand guide.

The Formula One Paddock Club™ is Formula One™’s own in house hospitality. The over riding advantage of the Paddock Club™ are the pit lane visits which come as standard. This isn’t the pit lane lane visit on Thursday afternoon which is open to any grandstand ticket holder, Paddock Club™ guests get pit lane access at prime times on the days that matter.
You can expect pit lane access between 15:45 to 16:45 on Friday just before the second Formula One™ practice session, between 11:00 to 12:05 and 15:05 to 16:20 on Saturday just before qualifying and between 15:15 to 16:15 on Sunday. The latest times are published on the race weekend timetable available on the official Formula One™ website about four weeks before the event.
During these pit lane visits you can expect to see mechanics preparing the cars in the team garages, TV crews presenting live on air, global celebrities, Formula One™ legends and maybe the odd driver or two!
Unless you work for an official Formula One™ sponsor, the Paddock Club™ is the most up close experience you are likely to get at any Grand Prix™.
As a Paddock Club™ guest you’ll be looked after by the attentive Paddock Club™ staff in the Club Suite hosted in the pit building immediately above the F1™ team garages. The Paddock Club™ suites at the Yas Marina Circuit are self contained with air conditioning. Floor to ceiling glass doors lead out onto the viewing balcony for spectacular views into the pit lane and onto the start / finish straight.
The overhead views of the cars as they negotiate the pit lane and stop in their pit boxes are one of the highlights of Paddock Club™ access. Don’t forget to check out the views into the Formula One™ Paddock from the walk ways at the rear of your Paddock Club™ Suite. Here you’ll see drivers and team personnel going about their business, this is their office and you’ll have a bird’s eye view.
F1™ car simulators, a pit stop challenge, live music and guided tours around the circuit are recent additions to the Paddock Club™ experience.
The hospitality in the Paddock Club™ is also second to none. Pastries and coffee are served throughout the morning followed by a gourmet lunch served at your reserved table. Pop-up wok stations, burger bars and boulangerie are often available too. Premium Champagne, fine wines and beer are also included.

Downtown Abu Dhabi is around a thirty minute drive from Abu Dhabi International airport and sixty to ninety minutes drive from Dubai Airport depending on traffic.
Taxis are cheap with fares between Dubai and Abu Dhabi peaking at around AED250 (£55) but vehicle standards can vary and air conditioning is not guaranteed.
Pre booking a transfer in advance is a safe and convenient way to get from the airport to your hotel and paying a little extra for a premium vehicle is recommended.
Other advantages to pre booking a transfer include knowing that your driver will be waiting for you on arrival eliminating the chance of having to queue for a taxi or find alternative transportation on arrival. Payment is made in your local currency at the time of booking so there’s no need to worry about taxi fares or having enough cash to pay for the journey and your driver will know your destination in advance.

If you’re staying in downtown Abu Dhabi or Dubai you’ll need to get to and from the circuit.
Getting from your hotel in downtown Abu Dhabi to the circuit is pretty straight forward. Getting back to your hotel after the Grand Prix™ or evening concerts can be a different story altogether.
For the best chance of getting a taxi head to one of the hotels on Yas Island or try your luck with Uber. In recent years an Uber pick-up point has been located at the Yas Links Golf Course close to the North Grandstand and Du Arena where the evening concerts take place.
Hiring your own chauffeur may also be something to consider but un authorised stopping around the circuit is strictly policed and locating your driver may prove difficult.
You can take the 190 or 195 bus routes from the Abu Dhabi Bus Station directly to Yas Island. These run approximately every 30 minutes. There are also several other local buses that stop at Yas Island.

In recent years a handful of Grand Prix™ promoters have added extra value to the price of your race ticket by including complimentary concerts in the evening. Abu Dhabi was one of the first to introduce this initiative and past acts have included Lionel Richie, Rihanna, The Who, Kylie and Pharrell Williams.
The concerts in Abu Dhabi take place on Friday, Saturday and Sunday evenings with local artists often taking to the stage on Thursday as well.
If you’d like to take advantage to the free concerts you’ll need to have a valid ticket for the Yas Marina circuit on the day of the concert. So, a ticket for the North, South, West, Marina or Main Grandstand will all grant you access. Tickets for hospitality venues like the Yas Viceroy Terrace should also be valid but check with the organisers at the time of booking.
Concerts take place at the arena located under the unmistakable red canopy roof of Ferrari World. The arena is outdoor with grass underfoot and standing only so don’t expect the indoor arenas we are used to in the UK. This is much more like an outdoor festival.
Remember, you must obtain a wristband to gain access to the concert venue. Wristbands are available inside the circuit from kiosks usually found near the food and merchandise outlets. A new wristband must be collected each day.
Paddock Club™ guest have access to a premium viewing location called the Golden Circle with access via a fast track lane. In previous years a wristband has not been required for Paddock Club™ guests but check with the Paddock Club™ staff for the latest information.
The easiest way to reach the arena is on foot. Just head towards Ferrari World which is directly behind the North Grandstand. If you look at an aerial photo of Yas Marina Circuit you’ll see just how close the two are. The arena is where the red canopy roof of Ferrari World is cut away just below the bottom tip of the Ferrari badge.
