Your Monza grandstand guide
Wherever you sit, there’s a special atmosphere at Monza. The Italian fans turn out in force to support their beloved Ferrari. Adults and children with Ferrari flags are everywhere. But if you want to see the best action, you need the right seat.
Our personal favourite grandstand is the Outer First Variant A (first corner, Grandstand 8A), which is right on the braking zone at the end of the main straight. It’s a great spot for overtaking and seeing all the first corner action as the cars hurtle towards it at the start of the race. It’s also been the most popular grandstand with our past guests.
Our other favourites are the Ascari One Grandstand (15 on the circuit map) and Ascari Two Grandstand (13 on the circuit map) which are ideally positioned for views of the sweeping corners of the Ascari section of the circuit. It’s a great choice for seeing intense F1 racing.
The circuit’s Main Grandstand is as you’d expect. It’s great for the start of the race, and seeing all the comings and goings on the grid pre-race, but not so good for seeing overtaking. You do however have great views into the pits and of pole position on the grid.
The Right Lateral A (26A on the circuit map) is similar, located just to the right of the Main Grandstand and ideal for views of the podium celebrations.
If you’re spending all three days at Monza and have grandstand tickets, you can usually roam between any stand on the Friday. It’s a great opportunity to try different vantage points.
